When my husband passed, the funeral director, Krista, was wonderful. She was compassionate and so very helpful with making arrangements. During such a difficult time, she helped guide my family and me through a process that would have been so onerous without her assistance.

RE: Thomas Harding

As, a contemporary of Thomas, together we journeyed through part of life on the spiritual train through ups and downs, over hills and through tunnels. However, we have not been in touch for the last few decades; but I do carry an indelible imprint of Thomas in my heart and soul, and mind.
Thank you for your memories of a man who was an exceptional explorer and a keen adventurer who was a pilgrim along the shores of life whether in the wild of the rurality or the conformity of the urbanity.
I particularly remember his point of view as I was completing my Bachelor of Divinity thesis at Stephen's College on the Theology of Leisure. He said it was more poetry than prose, and he found it enlightening.

I just stepped away from the computer and told Donna, my wife, of Thomas's transition to eternity; and then gazed out the north facing window over the waters of Brentwood Bay and Anglers' Marina. The still and serenity of the water erupted into waves of a Harbour Seal frolicing on the surface....leisurely, playfully, fulfilling his life destiny with the vibes of freedom and faith.

Now, back at the computer,; these days I find myself more with a passion for the Theology of Nature, and in particular the ways of trees in their Wonder, Wit, and Wisdom. Rather than with the people of the church, I am involved with the people of the Royal Commonwealth Society Vancouver Island (RCS VI) and with trees, am an advocate of the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy in local municipalities, parks, and gardens......but that is another story.

Thank you Dan for including me as a recipient of this obit (or rather this Bio) of Thomas.
May the Blessings of Life prevail and persist with you, your circle of family, and your descendants.

MAY THE FOREST BE WITH YOU

Telford’s was recommended to me by a nurse after my husband passed away and we couldn’t have been better taken care of by the thoughtful, respectful and kind people at Telford’s. I will always recommend them.

I dealt with Telford's after a recent family loss. Stuart came to my Mother's home, helped with all of the necessary arrangements, and completely put her at ease. It is clear that he is compassionate and very understanding about the needs of his family. All of the staff were extremely helpful and made this hard time much easier to handle. Thank you Telfords. I have and will continue to recommend their services.

This place was incredible when we had a viewing for the passing of my dear friend. They were compassionate and very supportive. Couldn't have asked for a better experience at such a hard time. Many thanks

Can't say enough about how helpful and professional the staff was. This was the most difficult time for me. Was made to feel as though I was part of their family. I would not hesitate and would highly recommend Telford's to help when you need it most. Thank you so very much!
