Toneff Funeral Services, serving the entire Comox Valley in BC, began in March 2010, then located in Courtenay, offering a unique funeral business concept to Upper Vancouver Island residents.

To keep costs low, we travel from our central location office in Comox to make funeral arrangements in the clients home. Because losing a loved one can be a confusing and emotional time, we have found that families are more comfortable in familiar surroundings, free from stress and pressure and, more likely to make sound decisions based on their family’s needs.

We do not have expensive facilities such as a formal chapel, preparation area or on-site crematorium. But, we make use of facilities in the community. If you prefer a church, a community hall like the Royal Canadian Legion or a banquet room at one of our many hotels – no problem – it’s all about what is best for you and your family. And, if you have family or friends that cannot travel to the service we can broadcast it on our website. When you choose Toneff Funeral Services you pay less because we pass the savings on to you. As well, our business model puts money back into our local economy, keeping local people employed.
