Virginia "Ginny" June (Leed) Lowrie

Ginny passed away peacefully of congestive heart failure at Comox Valley Hospital.
Ginny was a vibrant woman who loved music, travel, entertaining and dance. Family was most important to her, and she loved to encourage and pass on her knowledge to all.  She was a businesswoman, member of the Royal Conservatory of Music for over 60 years, a member of the BC Registered Music Association and she sang in Vancouver Bach Choir.  She was a pioneer in everything she touched and volunteered in every community she lived in. In Terrace she was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and in Courtenay the CYMC to name a couple. She was a cofounder of the Pacific Northwest Music Festival and Past President of B.C. Tourism Board.
She loved her students of voice and piano and was selected to showcase them at Expo '86.
Ginny was born in Princeton B.C. and is predeceased by her parents Ole and Elsie Leed and her husband of 63 years, Ron.
She leaves behind her Daughter Veronica Wargo (Ray) her  son Rick Lowrie(Lannie) and Grandchildren Nathan, Sedona and Luke as well as many nieces, nephews and extended
family.
There will be a service held for her at 11AM on October 25, 2025 at St. John the Divine Anglican Church
