Therese Lepage Bussiere 

1927 – 2024

On June 5, 2024, in Nanaimo, B.C., at the age of 96, Jesus came to take our mother, Therese Bussiere, home.  Mom was a remarkable woman, who dedicated her life to family and work. On June 22, 1948, she married Roger Bussiere.

She was a talented cook, renowned for her delicious bread and buns; her dill pickles; and her mile high chiffon cakes. Her skills extended beyond the kitchen, as she was also an accomplished seamstress.  She loved to crochet, and passed on to her friends and family, many doilies and tablecloths.  In her younger years, she worked tirelessly on the family farm, milking cows, tending to the fields, and her large garden.

In retirement, Therese and Roger enjoyed fishing, camping, and winters in Arizona, basking in the sunshine.  Family always came first for Therese; and she took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held to celebrate the life of Therese in Vonda, SK at St. Philippe Neri Parish,- July 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
