Teresa Sarah (Macaulay) Foster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Sarah Foster on Jan 4, 2023, at the age of 86. God has received another angel. She was a Loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She had a big heart.

Teresa was born in Cardigan Head PEI to Edgar and Mary MacAulay. She grew up with siblings Earl (deceased) & Helen Fletcher (currently of Hamilton ON).  Teresa married Keith, who was in the military, taking them to Nova Scotia, Germany, Winnipeg and retiring in Comox. She worked at the PEI Hospital but spent most of her working life as a homemaker and had an in home daycare. Teresa’s children would come home to fresh baking, and not just for special occasions. She knitted boxes and boxes of phentex mitts on 4 needles for her girls. We would take a new pair for a colour change or because we carelessly lost them. Teresa was tough, surviving a brain tumour, several strokes, heart attack and a broken hip.

Teresa is survived by her husband (65 yrs.) Keith Foster, sister Helen Fletcher, daughters Linda, Helen (Alex), Karen (Larry) & Marlene (Dave), grandchildren Daniel & Vincent, Amanda & Chris, Montana, Sierra, & Tatiana, great grandchildren Alec, Zach & Louka and lots of nieces, nephews, their families and sisters-in-law.

Teresa was a sweet, kind, and generous soul. She would do anything for her family, always putting others before herself. She never complained. She never judged. Her love was unconditional. She was a great baker, making buns, brownies, Fudge, cookies and squares. She loved all animals. We will cherish our memories and keep you forever in our hearts.
