Robert ( Bob ) John Butterworth

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert John Butterworth, known as Bob, who left us on January 24th, 2025 at the age of 57.  Bob was born on December 29, 1967 in Nanaimo, BC where he lived his entire life.

Bob leaves behind his wife Donna, his children: Tammy (Albert), Brittany (Brad), Melissa (Matt), Cody (Loan) and 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Debbie, and two brothers Ron & Mike. Bobs extended family also included: Alina, his RDN friends, and his special extra mom Joanne, who was always there with unwavering support. 

Bob had a passion for working on his cars, home renovations, boating, camping, family time and bonfires in the backyard with his 2 beloved dogs Tucker & Levi. 

As we remember Bob, we invite you to join us for a celebration of life on April 26th, 2025 from 2pm - 4pm at the Moose Hall in Nanaimo. Light refreshments will be served.
