Pennie ( Ada ) Davis Obituary

Pennie Davis (Ada) passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2021. Pennie was Born February 11th, 1922 in Prince Rupert B.C. at Seal Cove.

Pennie married Beatty Davis on October 1st, 1938 in Ladysmith. They had sixty-nine wonderful years together!

They are survived by their children Howard (Colleen), Ann, Susan (Orville), Venice.  Pennie has left an amazing legacy of 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Pennie was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Ada Bailey, husband Beatty and grandchildren Glenn Smith and Sandra Davis.

Pennie’s hard work and dedication to her family was always her first priority in life, she was an amazing Mom and a loving, caring grandma to so many. The whole family will have many cherished memories of her delicious apple pies and all the Sunday dinners she prepared for her family. She was truly a unique and very strong lady!

Pennie was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and even became Grand Ruth.  Her dedication to helping the Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store and Cancer Dressing showed her commitment of giving to her Community.

There will be no gathering at Pennie’s request.

Memorial donations may be made in honour of Pennie to:      B.C. Children’s Hospital 4500 Oak St, Vancouver B.C., V6H 3N1.
