With sadness Pauline passed away at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital from cancer with family members by her side.  She was 86 years old, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many.

She was predeceased by her parents, Yvette and Sylvio Louisseize, sisters Marcelle Guay, Jeannine Therrien, brother Jean Louisseize of Rockland Ontario along with Don Walker of Edmonton - her previous husband.

Pauline is survived by her husband Hiro, and sons, Guy (Romana ) Walker of Ottawa, Mike Walker of Nanaimo, grandsons Derek, and Jordan Walker of Ottawa, brothers Jacques, Michelle, Pierre and Guy Louisseize, sisters, Murielle ( Robert ) Guay, Lyse ( Jean-Louis ) Charron of Rockland Ontario.  There are also numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Pauline worked as a Federal Public Service employee in the Human Resources section in B.C., Alberta and Ontario prior to retirement and moving to Nanaimo in 2003.  Her interests included her love of gardening, sewing, making jewelry and traveling.  She was a creative soul with skills to match.

There will be no funeral service by request.  A celebration of life in Rockland Ontario and Mission B.C. will occur at a later date.
