Norman Arnason Obituary

Norman Gisli Arnason died age 88 of lung cancer. Father to Terra (Troy), Stefan (Julie), Kristjan and Glenn (Mel). Grandfather to Coryn, Alexandra, and Simon. Married 53 years to Yvonne (nee Clearie). A 1958 graduate of UBC electrical engineering followed by lifelong employment in BC Hydro (BC Electric) until full retirement in 1993. The youngest and last of 12 siblings and Uncle and Great Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He loved travelling, golf, gardening, playing his ukulele (Evergreen Ukes) and his wife. So proud of his Icelandic roots and his family. He died peacefully with his wife by his side.

A celebration of Norman’s life will be held at a later date.
