Norine Frances Chalker

Very sadly, Family and Friends must announce the passing of Dear Norine Frances Chalker on December 25,2021 in Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care.

Norine was born August 24, 1961.  She was predeceased by her Father Scott Johnston.  She is survived by family in Ontario, her Mother, Leona Johnston; her Sister Sheila Johnston Chastenay; Brothers Whitney and Bryan Johnston; and her Daughter Shelly King all in Ontario.

Norine is also survived by her son Shane (Jessica) Chalker in Nanaimo, and her Beautiful Grand-daughters Skyla and Mackenzie.  She was so proud of their athletic and artistic talents.  Norine also maintained a life-long connection to her spouse Wayne Chalker who remains a supportive friend and Grandparent.

Also surviving Norine is her Dear Mate, Jim Underwood of Tsawout.  They had many great adventures together and along the Road of Life made many Friends. 

Norine knew how to work hard.  She was employed often in housekeeping.  She was a wonderful house-keeper and welcomed family and friends to her comfortable home.  She loved  to serve up baked ribs, cabbage rolls, roast, or whatever was available.  She will indeed be missed.
