Kimball (Malone), Marjorie Irene March 12, 1953 - September 10, 2019

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce that on September 10, 2019, Marjorie passed away  peacefully at home, surrounded by close family and loved ones.

Marjorie was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on March 12, 1953, to proud parents Lawrence Edward Malone and Phyllis Iviedell Malone (Bruce), along with her siblings Donna, Ron, Bruce and Judy.

Marjorie was pre-deceased by her parents, and brother Ron.

She is survived by her husband Ernie Kimball, Children Carrie-Lynn Arsenault (Mike), Shannon Kimball, and Steven Kimball, Grandchildren Jeremy  Michael Arsenault (Emily) and Jeffrey Dale Arsenault (Valene), Great Grandchildren Riley Robert Michael Arsenault, Maci Lynn Arsenault, Lily Mae Marjorie Arsenault, and Wesley Jeffrey Arsenault. Siblings Donna Sheridan (Barry), Bruce Malone (Lucy), Judy Besette (Mike). As well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.

There were no strangers to Marjorie, only friends she hadn’t yet met.

She had a passion for travel and loved the country she called home. She lived East to West, North to South in 5 different provinces. No matter where she lived, she had a profound impact on her community. She made many friends through her love of sports, volunteering, and being active within the community. You could always find her outside in nature, hiking, biking, swimming and enjoying everything the great outdoors has to offer. There was not a sport she didn’t partake in, she especially loved ringette, hockey, swimming, biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, golf, and dragon boating. She was an active volunteer for Special Olympics and dedicated many hours of her time to coaching.

She was known as a jack of all trades, and could always lend a hand with any task, often taking the reins and teaching others as she helped. She was driven and never settled which led her to many career paths, giving her a wealth of experience. Her many careers included Banker, Dental Assistant, Heavy Hauler, Welder, Welding teacher assistant, senior college student in theatrical arts.

Marjorie fought a long and brave battle with cancer, never once letting it take control of her life or spiritual well being. Her passing will leave a mark on all her many family and friends.  A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2020 for family and close friends.
