Maire (Lynch) McElwain

With sadness we inform you that Maire McElwain (Lynch) of Comox, BC died peacefully at home on October 21st, 2025.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, she joins her beloved late husband Keith and is survived by 8 of her 12 siblings. She is also survived by her children Kathleen, Timothy, and Rhona, her grandchildren, Emily, Athena, Aurora, and Elias, and countless nieces and nephews.

Maire was a dedicated member of the CWL and an avid gardener, participating in the North Island Rhododendron Society.

There will be a Funeral at Christ the King Church in Courtenay on November 10th at 11am.
