Leslie Esther (Creasy) Beeler

Leslie was born on August 27, 1953. Soon after, she was adopted by Martin and Esther Creasy. Leslie was the oldest of five, and they all grew up on the family farm in Irma, Alberta.

Not long after starting her nursing career, Leslie met and married Don Beeler and the newlyweds settled into the Comox Valley in 1979 where they raised their two boys, Barry and Mark.

Leslie’s hunger for travel and adventure led the family on many road trips back to her family farm in Alberta, as well visits to Ontario to see Don’s family, and all-over North America.

For Leslie, life was all about relationships. Leslie was known for her incredible heart for people, for welcoming people from all backgrounds into meaningful relationship, leading to her often being described as a rare gem, who gave the best hugs. She will be missed by many!

Leslie was an amazing grandma. She loved going to different performances, swim lessons, or just any opportunity she had to spend time with her grandkids and get out on an adventure. They will miss her authentic love and all of her yummy snacks.

Leslie’s love for people reflects the character of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who does not treat us as our sins deserve, but instead he lavishes us with compassion, grace, and love (Ps. 103:8-10). Her relationship with Jesus shaped how she cared for the people around her, and she wanted people to know Jesus too

 Leslie joined her late husband, Don Beeler, in heaven, on the night of August 4th, 2025.

She is survived by her sons Barry (Sarah, Malachi, and Zechariah) and Mark (Kimberley, Rosalie, Scarlett, and Vienna).

Funeral Service to be held at  Northgate Church in Courtenay on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at 1:00 pm

with interment to follow at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery at 3:00 pm
