Lawrence "Larry" Walter George Gedge

It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Walter George
Gedge announces his passing on August 19, 2024, at the age of 86.

Larry was born in 1938 in Peterborough, Ontario to Wilfred & Hilda
Gedge. His love for nature and animals began at a young age
eventually leading him to Queen’s University where he obtained a
Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours. He went on to teach
high school science for almost 30 years. He had a great interest in
history and ancestry, spending much of his leisure time visiting Great
Britain and Europe. Larry loved exploring the outdoors, gardening,
canoeing, birdwatching, camping and spending time with his many dogs
or watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens!

Larry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, his daughters Laurel and
Meredith and his granddaughter, Kyra.

A private (family only) Celebration of Life will be the only service.
