Kimberley Anne Freer

March 2, 1966 - August 15, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend, Kimberley Anne Freer on Friday, August 15th, 2025. 

Kim was born on March 2, 1966 in Victoria, BC. Kim was predeceased by her parents Bob and Sharon Freer. 

She is survived by her children Preston (Catherine), and Shayla, her brothers Glenn, Craig (Pam), and Shawn (Katie), many nieces, nephews, and grand niece and nephews, and her newest love, her granddaughter Alice. 

Kim spent the majority of her life living in Cedar. Spending the last 20 years working for the school district, mainly as the secretary at Cedar Elementary; she has touched the lives of many children and their families. 

Kim loved to cook, bake, and play games with friends. She would always make sure you were taken care of. 

We would like to thank her brothers and her dearest group of girlfriends for always being there for her in life, and for us now in these trying times. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 11am-2pm at Cedar Elementary - 2215 Gould Road, Nanaimo BC
