Kathleen Ann (McLellan) Skokan

Kathleen Ann (McLellan) Skokan passed away on July 16th, 2025 at the age of 68. She lived in the Courtney/Comox area for the past several years and absolutely loved the island. That’s where she felt the most at peace. Kathleen was born on June 18th in 1957 from parents Virginia McMillan and Doug McLellan. Kathleen was one of six siblings. Predeceased by Danny, Ross, Jackie. Survived by Kenny and Shelly. Kathleen married Joe Skokan in 1983. They had 3 children together. Stephen Skokan (Laura Skokan and children Abigail and Sophie), Natalie Skokan (Oliver McQuaid and children Atlas and Elena), and Daniel Skokan (Mickayla). Kathleen will be missed by all those who knew her. 

Kathleen had difficult times in her life and she always found comfort in the Serenity Prayer:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot,

Courage to change the things that I can,

And wisdom to know the difference.
