It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Fredrick Watt, who died peacefully at the age of 83 on April 24, 2025 in Ladysmith, BC.

Born on June 5th, 1941 in Duncan, BC, James spent his life connected to the land he loved. He worked in the forest industry for many years, building a life of quiet strength and dedications. Outside of work, James found joy in simple pleasures, mushroom picking in the bush, panning for gold, tending to his garden and growing vegetables. His love of nature and outdoors was evident in everything he did.

James (Red) is lovingly remembered by his wife Jeanne, daughters Marcia (Larry), Lori (Dake) and granddaughter Crystal (Matt), brother Robert and sisters Helen, Jean and Elsie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
