James Lee Groseclose

July 7, 1978 – June 28, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jim Groseclose on June 28, 2019. Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Jim loved everything outdoors. Quading, fishing, camping, bonfires and 4x4ing were some favourites, especially with his daughters. And of course, when thinking of Jim, we all know his love for Chevy’s – from smoke shows to wrenching on them…and always going fast. Those who knew Jim well, knew his genuine heart. He loved his daughters deeply, had a special way with animals and was one of the most loyal people you could have in your life.

He was a great storyteller with an amazing smile. We are grateful he is now at peace.
Jim will be sadly missed by his devoted daughters Diana Groseclose and Shelby Odarich, his parents Vicki Parsons and Dennis Groseclose, siblings Ryan Parsons and Deni Parsons, grandparents Vanda (Ken) Woodland and Hilliard Groseclose, his dog Chevy, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his grandparents Charlie Parker and Margaret Groseclose, and his Auntie Diane.

A private Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
