Halia Kosmack Obituary

Halia Helen Kosmack ( Nee Janchevsky ) passed peacefully on Monday, December 6th 2021 at 6:45 pm with her only son Christopher and dear friend Frankie Rose by her side.

Halia was born on Monday, April 3rd, 1944 to parents, Victor and Maria Janchevsky, originally from the Ukraine. Before eventually coming to Oshawa Ontario, they were in a refugee camp in Germany and lived in England. Halia moved to British Columbia in 1972 with her then partner, Jim.

She is predeceased by her parents, Victor and Maria and brother Stefan.

Halia will be sorely missed by her son Christopher, brother Peter and her nieces and nephews as well as her friends and extended family.

Halia was a true animal lover so in lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA or your local animal rescue.
