Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Glen Poppe on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the age of 57.

Glen was a loving husband for 34 years to Diane, loving father to Richard and Cassie (Tyler). Brother to Gunter (Shirline), Alfred, Ingrid, Roy (Ayu), and the late Martin. Also brother in law to Erika (John), John (Tracy), and Elaine (Darren). Glen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Glen had a passion for the outdoors from snowboarding, hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycling, golfing, and hiking.

He had 22 plus years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces.

Friends and Family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life to be held on:

Saturday, August 19th, 2023 between 1:00pm - 6:00pm at the Officer's Mess at CFB 19 Wing Comox.
