Frances Garlock

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances.

Fran was born in Lamont, Alberta.  She loved gardening, shopping, fishing, and get togethers with family and friends.  One of her greatest joys was spending time with her sons and grandchildren.

When Fran’s eyes failed, she became a member of White Cane.  She enjoyed luncheons, outings, and most of all the company of others.

Fran struggled with pulmonary Fibrosis over many of her last years.  Having to deal with oxygen but she was very determined to make the best of life. Fran lived life to the fullest.

Fran is predeceased by her parents, brother, and husband.  She leaves behind her sons; Rick (Christmas) of Courtenay, and Kevin (Karolee) of Victoria, her brother, Lawrence of Burnaby, grandchildren; Cody and Kaylynn, one great grandchild and special friends; Pat, Sue, John (Dawn) all of Courtenay.

There will be no service as per Fran’s wishes.  Donations may be made in Fran’s memory to a Lung Association, charity or research program.
