Edward John (Ted) Fraser, November 17, 1947 – August 23, 2023

It is with love and sadness that we say goodbye to an amazing man. Husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, so many things to so many people. The best dad to our two sons, Jeff and Matt, Uncle Ted to our nephews and nieces and our foster sons, Deputy Sheriff Ted for many years, President Ted to the SLC, Coach Ted to the soccer kids and Scouter Ted to the troop. A brother to Dave, Dan, Chris, Debby, Brian and Joe. A brother-in-law (and more) to Laurie and Noel, Penny, Shelley and Cricket. A valued friend. A much loved husband to Lynne – for 53 years.

Ted brought joy to so many and asked for so little. A delightful man who worked hard, raised his sons, battled COPD, had a successful lung transplant, mentored others and never lost his sense of humour. We celebrate his life and his legacy. Our heartfelt thanks to B.C. Transplant for all of their support for so many years and to the ER, HAU and ICU staff at NRGH for Ted’s final care. Please join us wherever you are, by raising a diet coke, munching a Hawkins cheezie and remembering our Ted! A private service will be held for family.
