Dot always had a special love for horses.

Her Parents moved to BC in The 1940’s as her Dad was in The Army in Vernon.

They then made the move to Chemainus shortly after where the resided on River Rd for many years.

Dot and Les were married in May of 1951 and resided in different locations within Chemainus.

They bought property on Chemainus Rd which after a lot of hard work became the Bald Eagle Campsite, they had that for just shy of 10 years.

Mom loved working and meeting people there.  The Grandkids had one big playground and also were part of odd jobs there.

A big Thanks to All the Family that were involved with the many moves for Mom and Dad, and then Mom once she was alone.

Mom loved Bonnie Martin’s Restaurant and Raymond always knew exactly what her and Dad would order. Then Dad would make sure he got his Curried Chicken as well. When in town the family knew we had to go there, they also loved a good home cooked BBQ’d Pork chop dinner.

Thank you to All who spent many hours with Visits to Mom over the past few years.

Also, thank you to Chemainus Long Term Care for all their care while Mom resided there.

A Special Thanks to Carol and Alan for all the times they drove Mom and Dad to the Many Medical Appointments over the years And All the tasty home cooked meals they would bring to the house, especially after Dad would Hint enough.

Dot really enjoyed her 20 + years with the Chemainus Hospital Auxiliary and working alongside her workmates at their Local Auxiliary Thrift Store.

A Private Family Graveside Service and Tea will be held.
