Donna Marie Bettenson

Donna Bettenson was born on May 30, 1961, in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, and passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026.

For the past 35 years, Donna made her home in British Columbia with her loving husband, Neil. She found comfort close to home, treasuring the quiet familiarity of the spaces and people she loved. Donna had a fondness for collecting the most unexpected treasures. From old collectables to curious little pieces others might overlook, she saw beauty and meaning in the ordinary, filling her home with countless things, each carrying its own quiet story.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Neil; her children Daniel (Rachel), Kenny (Elyse), Jessica (Rob), Jocelyn and her bonus son Brad. Donna was a proud grandmother to Cassandra, Kayla, Elizabeth, Alexis, Breanna, Alivia, Azlyn, Autumn, Elias, Erika, Anya, Alice and Freyja each of whom brought immeasurable light and love into her life.

Donna’s life carried both storms and sunrises, yet through it all, family remained the heart of her world. Her strength, her laughter, and her unwavering love wove through every chapter of her life, leaving a legacy of warmth, resilience, and devotion.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit continues to shine. Love lingers in the memories she created, the stories she inspired, and the quiet ways her family will carry her light forward. 

In the peace beyond this life, may her soul rest, and may her presence be felt in every act of kindness and every shared smile.

May her heart of love continue to guide us, her laughter echo in our memories, and her spirit walk beside us in every sunrise, every gentle breeze, and every quiet moment of home.

Though she has moved beyond this world, her light remains, woven forever into the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life open house will be held on April 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1821 16th Ave, Campbell River  BC. All who knew and loved Donna are welcome to come by, share memories, and honor the beautiful, enduring life she lived.
