Dianne Campbell Obituary

It’s with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunty and friend at her home in Campbell River, BC.

Dianne was born in Vancouver, BC and resided there until she married her soul mate Roy on May 16th, 1964. At that time the newly weds moved to Kamloops, where they both worked until starting their family in 1965. A loving mother of 3, her feet were always searching for an adventure, so in 1972 they packed up their young family and hitched an ocean liner to Australia.

After landing in Sydney, they found opportunities in Melbourne where both Dianne and Roy worked for Safeway.

Returning to Canada in 1978 they settled in Peachland for 2 years then moved to Salmon Arm where she worked for the Ministry of Children and Families.

With her children all grown they moved to Kitimat, BC and then to Prince George, BC where they retired. In 2012 they moved to Campbell River where they stayed.

Dianne leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years Roy, her daughter Michele Babchuk (Dan), son John Campbell (Linda), sister Sandra McKee and son in law Terry Fjellstrom. Grandchildren Sean Babchuk, Amy-Lee Babchuk, Tanner Fjellstrom (Madison), Madison Fjellstrom (Jake), Josh Campbell (Larissa) and great grandchildren Owen and Jason Babchuk as well as a long list of in-laws, nieces, nephews and close family friends.

She is Pre-deceased by her youngest daughter Sandra Fjellstrom, her parents Amos and Molly Buller and her brother-in-law Bill McKee.

Service to be announced at a later date.
