It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra McPhedrain on July 6, 2020 in the Comox Valley at the age of 62. She was born in Whitehorse, YT to Edna Meeres and Cliff Smith. She is survived by her husband Wade McPhedrain and her four children Mike Tuka (Anne O'Sullivan), Kyle Tuka (Jen Tuka), Chelsea Petty (Shawn Petty) and Kaitlyn Cox (Evan Cox). Deb will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Brooklyn, Georgia, Emmett and Charlotte.
Deb will be remembered for her love and devotion to her friends and family, fantastic sense of humour and her passion for living life to the fullest. Deb's proudest moments in life were raising her children and enjoying time with her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Comox Valley Hospice Society.
