Clarke Belton Rhoule
June 10,1981 - November 24, 2022
It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Clarke Belton Rhoule, on
November 24,2022. He was taken from us far to soon at the age of 41. Predeceased by his
father, Verne Rhoule in 1997. Survived by his mother, Sandra, sister Crystal, Aunt Teresa
Thom(Phil), Uncle Al Dreyer (Pat), numerous cousins and friends. He was born in the Kelowna
District Hospital, and lived until the age of three in Peachland,B.C. In 1984 the family moved to
Crofton, B.C., then again in 1991 to Ladysmith, B.C.
Clarke attended Crofton elementary, where he loved playing basketball. Between the ages
of 8 to 10, he did fashion modelling for Barbara Coultish modeling agency. He attended
Ladysmith Secondary, where he did well in track and field, he was also an enthusiastic
drummer in the high school concert band. Clarke graduated high school in 2000, the same
year he was nominated for the “Courage to come back” award. After graduation, June 2001,
he earned his diploma in Automotive Service Technician from Malaspina University- College.
After working as an auto mechanic for 14 years, he was involved in a devastating motor vehicle
accident, leaving him with a debilitating back injury, and was unable to continue working.
Clarke was intelligent, caring, generous, and well liked by all who knew him. He enjoyed
photography, writing poetry, working on projects in his moms garage, especially building
bicycles, and was very talented at creating and making one of a kind objects.
One of Clarke’s biggest wishes was to get married and become a father, sadly this was
never achieved. Clarke added so much brightness to so many lives and will be sadly missed.
Special thanks to Dr.Benjamin How and to Laurie, a new friend and a helpful one, with a heart of gold!
A small private family burial service to take place in January.
