It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bruce Wayne Taylor on September 8, 2023, at the AgeCare Malaspina residence at the age of 80 years. Bruce will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Mary Tougas, his children Joanne (Andreas) and John (Brenda), stepchildren Nancy (Andy) and David (Stephanie), and grandchildren. Bruce was predeceased by his father George and his mother Annie, George’s second wife Josephine, his first wife Mary, all of his siblings - Alan, Vera, Iris, Derry, and Glen, and step-children James and Brent (Margaret).

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life with reception will be held on Saturday September 30, 2023, at The Rollo (Gabriola Seniors Centre) on Gabriola Island, BC, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Bruce’s memory to the Gabriola Ambulance Society.

The family extends a special thankyou to support staff of the Hummingbird floor of the AgeCare Malaspina long-term care residence.
