Anne Margaret (Mahon) Lepschi

In Loving Memory – Anne Margaret Lepschi (nee Mahon), aged 84, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2020 at the Chemainus Health Care Centre. She was born on Nov 5, 1935 in Liverpool England, the ninth of 12 children to Annie and John Mahon. 

Anne moved to Canada in 1962 and married Robert Lepschi on June 27, 1964.  Together they worked at the family marinas and spent time travelling to warm places.

Eventually, they moved to BC to retire.  She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Robert, children Lisa (Paul, Chris, Brittany) and Jo-Anne, grandchildren Claire and Quinn, sisters Julia, Chris, and Pauline and extended family in England, sisters-in-law; Ella, Rose and Joan, her nephews, nieces and friends.

Sadly, for these last ten years, Mom struggled with dementia. Many of her memories slowly disappeared, however, she was always happy to share a smile, hum a tune, and have a good laugh.  We will keep those memories close to us as we remember a loving wife, a supportive mother, a proud grandmother, and an elegant, thoughtful and generous friend who was always full of energy and laughter.

Our thanks to the wonderful team at the Chemainus Healthcare centre who provided compassionate and loving care throughout her stay and until the end.

It is with much sadness and love that we say goodbye to a wonderful lady.
