It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and man.
Albert was a career miner that saw him blast rounds from Northern Ontario to the West Coast of Canada and all the way to Scotland. Only an industrial accident would slow him down, and even then, it barely did.
He enjoyed chatting with everyone about anything and never had a bad word to say about anyone. People who happened to meet him usually would end up talking longer than expected, his sense of humour was unparalleled.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Paulette, children Yvonne and Raymond and loyal dog Milo. He was predeceased by his eldest daughter Lise Johnston (Ian).
Born in St. Eusebe, Quebec, Albert was one of nine siblings. Claude (Bernadette), Alfred (Jeanne), and Jean all reside in Northern Ontario. Albert is predeceased by his sister Annette (Gilbert), brothers Joseph (Lily), Rejean, Lucien (Giselle), and Rene. Grandfather to Lise Paiement (Mitch), and Amanda Bedard (Mark). Great-grandfather to Caden, Alexis, and Andreana. Adopted father to Gord and Tracey Peters; adopted papa to Kaylee and Emily Toneff and Jessica Peters, and Godfather to Julie Woods. Uncle to many... hope you were able to meet him. Our hearts are full from knowing him.
We would be remiss if there was no mention of gratitude to Dr. David Kenny and Dr. John Law who are consummate professionals and always had time for Albert. We would also like to extend our appreciation for the nurses from CBI who came daily to make sure Albert was healthy and comfortable.
Ya buddy... we love and miss you.
Salut. Auf Wiedersehen!
