Salvatore Adamo Obituary

Sal passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was predeceased by his father Carlo & mother Mary.

Sal is survived by his wife Bettyann, son Jonathan (Michelle), grandchildren Faith and Kohen, sister Cathy, sister Marina (Giacamo), nieces & nephews Rosemary (Lester), Carla (Frank), Jennifer (Joe), James (Stefanie), great nieces & nephews Nicholas, Simona, Julian, Joshua, Ella, Olivia & Maia.

Sal was born in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Campbell River in 1994. He worked as a hairstylist for over 50 years and considered his clients his family. His son was always his greatest accomplishment & his grandchildren his pride and joy. Sal loved bowling, fishing and was the most fantastic cook, who loved to share with all he met.

Sal’s last wishes were to have a celebration of life before he passed on. Thank you to all the people that made this happen so last minute and to all that attended, especially those who traveled from afar.  A special thanks to our family and friends that were by our sides through it all. Thank you to the Palliative Care team who went above and beyond.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Cameryn’s Cause for Kids, which was very dear to Sal’s heart.

Sal you will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
