David Marshall Fisher

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave at the age of 79.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon of 59 years and his children Denise Gelinas, Jennifer (Ivan) DeToro, Sandra (Sandy) Masales, Dan (Val) and predeceased by his son Bradley. He will also be fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, sisters Debbie, Diane and Hannah-Faye as well as numerous nieces, nephews and predeceased by his brother Joe and sister Darlene. 

Dave was born to Marshall and Rita Fisher in Vancouver, raised in the Qualicum Beach area and moved to Port Hardy in 1965 for his long respected career in the logging industry. 
Dave was passionate about spending time with his friends from the logging industry and sharing fishing tales.  Dave’s faith as a Jevohah’s Witness helped him through his final days and leaves many friends in the congregation. 

His service will be held at The Lions Hall - 7450 Columbia St, Port Hardy,  on December 1st at 2pm. All who want to celebrate his memory are welcome to attend.
