Sharon McClure Obituary

Sharon McClure passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.   Sharon was a loving wife to Tom, adored daughter, much loved sister and Aunt and a loyal friend to many.  Although her family resided in Ontario, she took an active interest in their lives and loved sitting down and having a long chat to catch up on all their news.

Sharon worked at Vancouver Community College beginning in an administrative role, and through her hard work, intelligence, and dedication she rose to be the Labour Relations Officer.

Sharon had an inquisitive mind and liked to keep busy.  She was President of the Pebble Beach Strata for many years and found joy volunteering at local schools in the breakfast school programs, hosting dinner parties, spending time with friends, attending theatre and live music shows.

Sharon loved gardening, mystery novels, baseball and cross-stitching beautiful pillows.  But above all, Sharon loved spending time with her husband Tom.  Whether it was on their boat, road trips, travelling to Hawaii and Palm Springs, or even simply staying home.  Every day was made better because the love of her life was part of her day.

Sharon is predeceased by her father Jack, mother Florence, brother Ross, sister Kaye, nephew Bob and husband Tom Breining.

Sharon will be missed by her McClure, Hearnden and Breining families.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Association would be appreciated.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
